Our passion, our love, our focus – photography, our beautiful town Raiganj with the renowned “Raiganj Wildlife Sanctuary” (also popularly known as Kulik Bird Sanctuary) flowing beside the serene river Kulik and promotion of photographic arts – get boosted up as Mr. Dwiparna K Dutta (DFO, North & South Dinajpur) provided NBPC the opportunity to make a documentary: “On the Wings of Kulik” under the sponsorship of Forest Dept. With stupendous effort of all our members and superb editing by Subrata Kar, NBPC could land up with a product overwhelmingly lauded by one & all. Our challenge is resist yourself before loving it.

Ours is a saga of an eventful journey of a fraternity of amateur photo-enthusiasts enjoying to freeze the frames of moments and visualizing life through lenses with an appreciation of the aesthetics. Our beloved North Bengal Photography Club. a Govt. registered outfit and an affiliate to FIP , since its inception on 17th June, 2007 in a little known district town of West Bengal, India, has been relentlessly pursuing its object to promote the essence of photography in this region and to engage in various social activities and endorsements for the betterment of the weaker sections of our locality. An authentic and successful organizer of salons ( 8 Nationals & 4 Internationals consecutively), NBPC has always been regarded as a fair play arena for the umpteenth no. of photo-artists across the globe challenging themselves in front of stalwarts of international repute. MEET OUR TEAM
We used to love sketching with camera; the sweet sound of shutter regaled our senses. We were from different professions enjoying our exploration through lens. And we were destined to tread on the same boulevard. We decided to join hands in our small picturesque town Raiganj surrounded by the serene river Kulik and also the second largest Bird sanctuary of Asia, Kulik Bird Sanctuary, acted as a catalyst. And our very own North Bengal Photography Club started its journey on 17th June 2007.
