By profession he has been a very successful ENT surgeon. During the formative period of NBPC he played a vital role in bringing together the enthusiast photographer of Raiganj Under an umbrella  and in the first committee , he was the President in the year 2007 and upto 2011. He leaves no time to go outside for a click. He is very popular among the fellow photographers for his sweet behaviour.
