Throughout his long carrier in the Dept. of Forest, Govt. of W.B., he has been a dedicated   forest officer  and environmentalist. His service has been recently rewarded with “Ruposi Bangla” award by Govt. of W.B. for his extraordinary plantation work. Now, he regularly goes into the forest with his camera and long lens for wildlife photography. He has been associated with NBPC for last 4 years and he is the Patron of the club NBPC. For last 6 years he is serving as DFO of Raiganj Division and  is the key person for total transformation Raiganj Wild life sanctuary at its present position. He has visited South Africa to study the wildlife management very recently.
